Additionally, I started to jot down those "dumb luck" moments where I accidentally did something brilliant so that I can share those lessons with you. I thought about that moment early in my career where I took a free, but all-expense paid engagement and found myself being mobbed by attendees trying to hand me money and checks as I left the stage. I remembered what I offered that resulted in an organization's president paying me my full fee, and on top of that, giving a full commercial for my services at her event that resulted in my obtaining six additional bookings in less than 30 days.
