While many strive to get onto the next big stage, the next platform, or the next lineup, she is the person behind the scenes making it happen for professional speakers.
Known by many as “The Speaker Whisperer,” Regina Baker Chenier is a Speaker Industry Strategist and Infrastructure Architect who builds the backend behind profitable speaking businesses. In plain terms: she finds the broken, scattered, duct-taped processes running a speaker's operation, streamlines them, and turns them into systems that actually grow revenue.
She has been in business since 2004, with more than a decade of that spent behind the scenes in the speaking industry. Today she manages a team of professionals and works directly with speaker bureaus, corporate clients, and event planners, handling negotiations, contracts, invoicing, CRMs, and the logistics most speakers would rather not touch.
Her clients include Certified Speaking Professionals and members of the Speaker Hall of Fame, the CPAE honor. Her name has been called from that Hall of Fame stage three times, by three different inductees, none of whom held the honor before working with her. She still works behind the scenes with two of those Hall of Fame speakers today, and trained the manager who now represents a third. She lets those quiet facts speak for themselves.
A former CNN Radio Co-host who has been featured in The New York Times, Regina understands visibility from the inside, and she positions her clients to earn that same caliber of attention.
Recognized for her leadership and integrity, she has been honored as a “Leading Businesswoman of the Year” and named an “Outstanding Woman Who Inspires” by Hope for Women magazine. She also mentors the people doing the work: virtual assistants, admins, and project managers ready to trade casual energy for real accountability, through The Backend Blueprint Cohort, also known as the Speaker Virtual Assistant Academy.
At her core, Regina believes business should reflect purpose. She centers her life around faith, family, and focused work, and treats every client like they are the only one.
No hype, no guru theater. Just systems that work, and results that prove it.
Affectionately known as The Game Changer, The Speaker Whisperer, and The Original, Regina's main goal is the well-being of her clients and their clients. She argues that she doesn't do magic tricks or work miracles, but she can come pretty close. She lives with her husband in Houston, Texas.
I see why Regina Baker is award winning. She is a professional at every level of her business. She is highly knowledgeable of her industry, will guide and educate you through the process and is 100% invested in your well being and success. She cares about the end result for her client and not just the task in front of her.
Regina, thank you for your attention to detail. I had three different MDRT planning members say at three different times that the team that I work with is one of the best and most organized they've ever seen. You are the personification of excellence.

Regina is professional and there are no surprises when scheduling Crystal to speak.

Sometimes it's hard to put into words what someone means for your business. This is how I feel about Regina Baker. Before working with her, my business was a mess. I think I lost $30,000 in opportunities because I was disorganized with no systems and poor customer service. However, with Regina, my business and brand have excelled to exponential growth. What makes Regina more special is that I get to work with someone that shares my values of service, empowerment, justice, and legacy.

Working with Regina has truly been a game-changer for our business and for me personally as a leader. She has a rare gift for bringing calm to chaos, turning processes that feel overwhelming into systems that are clear, streamlined, and sustainable. She doesn't just teach systems, she genuinely cares about the people behind the business.

During my speaking career (18 years+), I have worked with several Virtual Assistants and, for whatever reasons, things fell through the cracks. Regina knows speakers, and she knows all the backend work it takes to get a speaker out the door, on the stage, back home, and then completing all the after-speaking items like testimonials, expenses, and follow-up calls. My clients adore Regina! She is on it, and she has helped me develop and perfect my systems and processes. Regina is the bomb!

You are such a Godsend. The way you pour into others and give them the confidence to go from an administrative assistant to a business manager is remarkable. Thanks for pouring into my Jasmin! There are many people out there who can tell you and show you how to execute the speaker game, but one of the first hires you need to make, in my opinion, is a rock-star admin who can handle not just the calls and booking leads but is empowered to negotiate within approved parameters. If you have a VA or a full-time assistant, you need to have them take Regina's course. Yes, I highly recommend it.
